Roadcheck Week 2026 Ahead

CVSA’s International Roadcheck is set for May 12–14, bringing a 72-hour inspection and enforcement push across North America. Inspectors will review commercial motor vehicles, drivers, and cargo for compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, with most checks following the North American Standard Level I Inspection process.

This year’s driver focus is electronic logging device tampering, falsification, and manipulation. Inspectors will closely review records of duty status, looking for inaccurate or altered entries that may conceal hours-of-service violations. On the vehicle side, cargo securement will be a key priority, with enforcement teams checking that freight, components, and dunnage are properly secured to prevent roadway hazards.

For shippers and carriers, the message is clear: documentation, equipment readiness, and load integrity matter.

TLC is monitoring lane conditions and potential capacity headwinds tied to Roadcheck week. Our team helps customers stay informed, plan with precision, and keep freight moving with confidence. That’s logistics handled with TLC. Even when the road gets stricter.
